Referral Letter to Homeopath Ellen Fowler
Shortly after meeting Ellen and hearing about Homeopathy for the first
time, (12 years ago) my son came home from a mountain fishing / hiking
trip with tick fever. He had pulled two ticks out of his back. I called
Ellen and asked her if she had a remedy for tick fever. She told me, "No,
we go strictly by the symptoms." I gave her all his symptoms over
the phone, while asking him questions that she asked me. I drove to her
house and picked up three remedies. As it turned out she was right on
the first one she had me give him and we didn't have to try the other
two. She sent those along 'just in case'.
He was so sick he could not get out of bed, could not allow the shades
in the room to be raised (light hurt his eyes), his head was pounding,
he had a high fever, etc...... Since it's been so long I can't recall
everything. Tick fever has also been know to be fatal.
Ellen had me give him one dose of Aconite 30c. After 30 mins he could
tell it had helped and he was feeling a little better. I called her and
told her this. She said, "Bingo, we are. on the right track."
She had me give him Aconite 1m only one time that evening. Before we knew
what was happening, he was out of bed and playing his fiddle. All the
symptoms were totally gone except for a slight headache, slight fever
and one other. He had many terrible symptoms that were very horrible.
I think she had me give him one more dose within a 24 hr period and he
was totally well.
Our future son-in-law was witness to all this and he is a very sceptical
person. He knows what you would have to do going the allopathic route.
Antibiotics for weeks etc..... He was astonished how it worked and how
quickly it worked. Needless to say, we all were and that's where I began
to have a huge desire to learn more.
One other factor is the expense. This cost only a fraction to what going
to a DR or emergency room or even a hospital stay would have cost.
